And so I diversified, reading history and international relations at university and afterwards, moved to London, working full time in roles that have required responsive and engaging written communication, diligent research, carefully designed public relations strategies and effective planning to ensure aims and ambitions were met, but the subject was never sport. Still, it has been fun.

London was not only my workplace, it was also where I became more acquainted with life on two wheels. Who can blame me? Nobody really wants to board overcrowded and sweaty public transport! From a single speed bike for work, I upgraded to a road bike, then to a second road bike within the space of two years. Cycling has since become a very big part of my life. I ride regularly, travelled to Mallorca with friends for a winter training camp and spend most of my time at the weekend in the saddle.
